Well done to all the staff and children in obtaining the School of Sanctuary Award. Miss Morris, Mrs Smyth and 3 boys went to the Belfast City Hall last week to receive their Award from the Lord Mayor for the School of Sanctuary. This Award was gained by displaying how we, at Sacred Heart, are a welcoming and inclusive school. We have a range of activities within our curriculum, in addition to activities, that embrace cultures within our own community. Throughout the school, we have shown an understanding of cultures; an acceptance of beliefs and compassion within a very turbulent world. So well done everyone in your efforts in becoming a School of Sanctuary!
